Warm ups
I hate how when you start playing and you fell like a fucking beginner. So I was wondering what you guys use to warm up to.

I just fucking play dude. It goes away in a short while. You're lucky you don't live in Winnipeg. On really cold days when you come inside a house your hands are fucking freezing and it might take a whole 30 mins of playing just to get warmed up. That's why I wear insanely good gloves.

à la Mustaine?
The spider technique is just something that requires good coordination in your fretting hand, but once you can do it is not very difficult or tiring to do. I don't see how it would help you warm up.
Or am I thinking of the wrong spider technique here?

I say do away with it. You can always stand in its former location if you need to make use of the perspective it gave you, but will benefit from the ability to situate yourself in different loci with ease.
Destroy the box.

He's talking about an excercise that Jaco used to do... I've seen it before.
