whenever i cant get the picking down... i just slow it down and build up the speed... its a bitch but it works. And procreation of the wicked sounds like entirely downpicking... which part exactly are you having trouble with... like minutes and seconds wise... if i knew that it would be easier to advise.
circle of the tyrants is entirely alternate picking... he even alt picks the chords... just watch the music video.
