Can't use 2 MF400 cabs with one head = plain bullshit?

I was reading one info page at an online gear store here in Spain and the description for my cab(Marshall mode 4(400W 8 Ohm)) said you can't use 2 of them with one head.

My Engl head has 2x8 Ohm outs, is this description just plain BS? In fact I read in some Fireball review that one dude uses it with 2 MF400 cabs.

Should I send them an email and tell their lazy asses to fix the description?

If you wanna use two MF cabs, and they are 8 ohms, you need to set the amp to 4 ohms. That's all there is to it really. If your amp cannot switch to 4 ohms you can't run both of them, far as I know. Not sure about the two 8 ohm outs on your head, but I would think they are series wired. Might be a good idea to drop Engle a line and see what they think.

as said above, use your 4 ohm(2x8 ohm) outputs on your engl to push the two cabs.

why they would say a head couldnt puch two of the same cabs is beyond me. but if they're 8 ohm cabs, and your head has 2 speaker jacks and can be set for 4 ohms/2x8(and it does). you're fine.
