Where to find Ampeg VH140 2x12 combos...
I've been raking up some cash for a combo amp to have an easier time taking my amp to rehearsal/jams/etc.
All I can find in stores here are Behringer, Crate, Line 6, Roland, Peavey, and Marshall MG's and I really don't want to buy on of those junky overpriced amps. Been looking at the used ads here in my island and I was offered a Marshall VS30R for 100 bucks but I figured it sounds like crap at high volumes. I just can't find any good solid state combos nowadays.
SO I figured I might get an Ampeg VH140 combo but I know they're out of production. Naturally I looked at ebay but the only sellers are in the US generally refuse to ship overseas.
Perhaps someone knows a European(or US if the ship overseas) store that sells used or NOS Ampeg VH140's? What other good SS 2x12 or 1x12" combos can be had nowadays for not much $? Tech 21 shit is way too expensive here.
Edit: Btw, Laney SS combos are available to me but I really don't know anything about their tone or reliability.

Laney S.S. imo, is very poor. If you can get a line 6 flextone or vetta second hand, they would be good for what you want. I cant help you find a Ampeg, Ive been searching for one myself. Those fuckers are good at hiding.

Thanks for the help. Dipshit.
I just don't wanna add a crappy amp into my attire, aren't their any new SS combo amps out there that don't blow ass?
Those Line 6 amps are too expensive(600-800 bucks), and can't be found in stores here, just the spider ones, so naturally I can't find em used either as so few people buy shit online here in the Canary Islands.
I'm just looking for a solid SS amp, even if it is super sterile, I like that... But digital/DSP amps:
Edit: What do you all think of the Laney tube 1x12/1x10 combos like the LC15?

Edit: How about Randall RG series combos? The old all-solid-state ones. Are they any decent and easy to find?

randall SS is fucking sick. Cleans are decent, and the disto is quite sweet. I highly reccomend, test it out to make sure its what you like.

Laney are known for the best tone for the price. LC's kick ass, with a nice pedal in front of it.
Have you considered an 'Atomic reactor' with say, a pod? Again with the remote island thing maybe, but might be an option.

Actually I did consider the Atomic reactor thing but I don't have a good preamp/pedal like PodXT to run into it, therefore it would mean spending a lot of cash, plus I don't need all the shit in a Pod just 1 good SS tone, hence I'm considering basic but solid SS amps.
I'm definately buying something online, either new or 2nd hand(probably off some US ebay duder because the only amps I can find in Spain's ebay site = only 2 pages of listings!)
The bleeding, I know randall makes good shit like the Warhead combo, but that one sells for quite a bit. I've been looking into something like this, the RG100SC:
http://cgi.ebay.com/RANDALL-RG-100-...bayphotohosting
though I'm not very convinced as far as their build quality, because these models are of the newer runs made in Chinese factories. What particular old Randall models in the 200-400$ 2nd hand range are guarranteed to kick ass?
I so seriously want this:
