Picking method for 'Filthy Little Secret'
I was exploring the song 'Filthy Little Secret' by Cradle of Filth, settled upon a tab and started trying my hand at the song. The first riff kinda has me confused. So I thought I'd ask you guys how would you stroke this riff:

I've listened to the song and I kinda have the timing down but however I play it, it doens't feel correct at all and quite rigid. Any ideas? How would you play it? |

if you had asked for picking mothods for some Necrophagist riffs, or other technical stuff, this thread would have served a purpose.
This riff is just a single powerchord moved up and down the neck.

Maybe in another 6 months i'll tackle Technical Metal. For now, keeping it simple. I was just looking for input on how others would strum the riff.
I probably shouldn't have said picking method. Maybe strumming method would have been better choice of words?

Take a look at the pending tabs forum: http://metaltabs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33783, I have submitted this song some days ago. The first chord is not an A5, but an F5. Tune your guitar down one whole step to drop C (C G C F A D) and then play the song. By the way, the drop tuning is not necessary, but then read the lowest string two numbers lower than written.

I agree with my fellow Origin brother. You really don't need advice on this. You fucking strum the two strings successively, or downpick if it feels right and it's a good tempo.
Why would you want to play CoF songs anyway? They're shit. |

Problematic: Eh, I just play what I think sounds cool and might be fun to play. That is all. I haven't been playing very long, as well or else i'd be ripping up Anata songs. I'm not a fanboi of CoF or anything, just thought it was a decent sounding song and somewhere in the neighborhood of my playing skills.
USS: I'll check out your tab, as it sounds you are more accurate then what I found.
