I have a epiphone in my room the fucker is heavy as hell and the guts are ripped out of it. Never even played with it trying to put it back together.

Every guitar is different. Go into a music store and check out an Epi in the 550 price range. When I worked at guitar center, I sold a shit ton of em. They were usually one of the first guitars I grabbed to jam on too in my free time.
Not only that, I own an epiphone 7 string I picked up in korea. It is still one of my fave guitars to this day.

yeah man epiphones are good guitars.My bands guitarist has a epi les paul with dimebuckers and it sounds good,so id say go for a epiphone.Also ive learned very slowly that u shouldnt ask if a guitar brand is good,just play one and make your own opinion.Yep

I was just saying, Epiphones ARE the budget line Gibson puts out, I wasn't saying that they're bad guitars. Whether or not that is true is up to the player; I'm not the kind of snob who knocks a guitar without playing it first, it's a totally subjective 'feel' thing. I have the same EPi' as Phil, it's awesome, love it to bits, I want to be buried with it. I think that Epi's vary a little guitar to guitar, two of the same model can be quite different.

yep, this goes for almost ANY budget guitar you cvan find, you might have a complete piece of crap, ro you might have a good guitar, it realy depends alot on those cheap things
