alt. picking question

ive learned to play Black Dahlia Murder's song "Close Casket Requiem" with all down picking. ive been messing around with alt. picking a bunch recently... i was just wondering how you guys would alt. pick these riffs...

all the notes on the e string are palm muted... any help would be great!

I would attack it strict alternate picking... DUD UDU DUD UDU... then a slight variation in the second part.

you just pick it. eco picking is pretty natural

Pick up some Darkest Hour or At the Gates songs.. they can help alot with alternate picking.

I would alternate (DUD) second part i would economy pick

or a varation of both.

I relize the more i play guitar the more random my picking is.

Try first the DUD...sometimes when you feel like you are trapped between thw strings try to invert your picking - it helps sometimes to gain speed in these type of riffs
