Buy a new neck, or bring it to a luthier to get it fixed.

New neck, if you glue it back together the specs will be off.

nooooooooooo!!!
broken guitars make me cry inside.
anyway, you could fix it, but you'd have to re-enforce the neck a lot due to the string tension. I've seen it done, I just don't know how hard it would be to pull it off successfully.

You're nearly fucked if money is an issue. This happened to my ibanez, which was a 350$ guitar, and a replacement neck costs the same thing. I asked Dariusz from ran, and he said he'd do it, but i'm canadian, and shipping will probably double the cost of the guitar, so i cant do that. Your BEST BET is a local luthier. But a potential problem is that they will specialize in one kind of neck with a certain kind of inlay, so you cant always get it fully customized. If you just reglue your neck, the joint will be weak, and prone to breaking again... so my reccomendation is get a replacement.
Bolt on replacements will run you from 150-350, depending on how customized you want it,
and set neck replacements (my buddy got his gibson melody maker fixed for 250) can run you anywhere from 250-600.
Oh, if its a fender, or jackson dinky, Warmoth will do it for you.
good luck dude.

take it to a good luthier, i know a luthier who fixes stuff like that al the time.. it has to be a good one though .
also, dont bother trying to fix it yourself, youll fail uinless u knwo how to build and repair guitars, wich i doubt else you wouldnt make this thread i think.
also what kind of guitar isit? maybe a new neck will be easier, but that realy depends on the guitar ofcourse

The guys who are making my custom, they will either glue the 2 pieces together, which they will not guarantee (depending on the exact nature of the break) or they will cut off the remaining headstock and simply make a new one in the exact style of the original with a new scarf joint.
Of course the latter is more expensive but it is as good as the original joint.
