Did a good job with metaphors and the stanza's man. Reminds me of the poems from the late 17th and early 18th century's.

I thought I replied to this. Hmm. I got the same feel as Pr' did from it and I like that style. It sounds like it could be a spoken intro to a song. I've still got Strawbs in my head so i'm hearing stuff like that. Proggy and folksy combined.

Yes, about in the start he saw her as an angel, although everyone else knew she was nothing but a cunt or whatever, and now he's sort of realised this, but cant bring himself, or doesnt want to break away from it "justifies the lies". he knows it now, and it causes him pain, but he either doesn't want to or cannot bring himself to stop seeing her.

nb man, a little emo-ish, but very well written. Im not a fan of lyrics about relationships but this isnt bad. |
