recording on cakewalk with M-audio box

I bought an M-Audio Fast track Pro box the other day and i know the one that i got is working, because the computer recognizes it and it is installed properly and verthing. I can't figure out how to get Cakewalk to recognize anything that goes into the M-audio box. I don't have the manual for Cakewalk because i got it form a friend who lost the manual. Anyone who has any cakewalk experience, your help would be appreciaited.
