Marshall 3203 Artist series...

I just played one of these little fuckers! God damn they sound great. I know Erik Rutan plays a modded one of these with a 4x10" mini cab apart from his JCM900, 2000, and Engl Powerball stacks(saw it on the new HE DVD). They're SS/tube hybrid preamps with a tube poweramp rated at 30W and god damn is it loud, despite being a cute little Engl Thunder-sized head. I was running it into a JCM cab...

The thing can acheive monstrous gain, not brutal DM gain but fuck throwing any boost in front of it will probably do the trick for that. Very responsive little amp, I brought my Charvel to a store to try some amps for the hell of it and found this old fucker. I know they're not made anymore. Have any of you ever played this thing?

I loved the sound. I think I might pick one up next time I'm in the US(they were selling it for a bit too much here) to have it as a backup for my Engl Fireball, to be used for band practice probably as it'll be easier to transport. I hear they can be had for 300$ US. Just thought I'd share this with y'all. Marshall should seriously reissue this thing.
