Dimarzio Evo pickup?

Alright so i picked one up the other day out of curiosity it was free so why not. Its being installed. well i was just wondering what do u guys think of the pickup? and is it good for melodic metal? and i know steve vai uses it...

My favourite pickup. Very dynamic. Catches nuances in your playing very well.

Good for the expressive type player
