New Cephalic Carnage Album
I'm tired of reading all this black metal propaganda.
I thought it was about time we had a fresh death/brutal metal thread started, so here it is.
Who the fuck has this album? And who the fuck loves it like i do?? These guys just own on guitar. It's so crazy....it's so insane....it's so good!

This is the second album of theirs which i buy and i'm very impressed.
They can do just about any kind of death metal.....just brutal heavy ass chords, or fast picking notes....or just crazy "what the fucking hell" kind of riffs which i love so much.

Yeah, I think that's what I like about them the most.. Is how unpredictable their songs are.. it'll start out just brutal as hell.. and then switch to this funky ass off the wall riffs that are just insane.. and back and forth.. I wish I wouldn't have missed them in concert last weekend..

I saw them this summer in august, and it ruled.
They were high before they started playing though, so they never noticed that the bass amp was turned up too high (he blew it halfway through). It was still really cool though.

They always use dissonant notes....seems like the guitars riffs are sometimes completely different for guitar 1 and guitar 2.

I think the song Lucid Intervals shows how nuts and diverse they are.. shit alot of the songs do.. I just think that song shows alot of their character..

Lucid Intervals is one of my favorites off the new album.
Others you guys should try checking out is "Scolopendra Cingulata". It's instrumental, just an intro song about 1:30 long, but it's fucking heavy and sweet.
Another cool one with a "what the fuck" kind of starting riff is "Pseudo". I don't know where they make riffs like these, but i wish more bands did.
Also, check slayme's site for 2 more songs i uploaded from their last album. Paralyzed by Fear and Rehab....2 great songs. NOW GO GET THEM!!!!!

Another song you MUST get is "Arsonist Savior".
I'm 100% serious on this....you haven't heard Cephalic Carnage until you heard this song. If you can't find it, i'll make a copy and post it.....but i'm not kidding you......this song has it all.
The starting riffs are just crazy....all these ringing notes that sound somewhat sad and depressed.....then into some crazy heavy palm muted riffs with insane pinch harmonics everywhere....now it's the slow screaming death part....fuck it rules. GET IT!!!!!!!

another song that's kinda crazy is Anechoic Chamber .. I don't know what album it's off but I found it about a week ago.. it's like this techno thing starting out.. with a phone ringing.. and the guy says "Hello?" and it just goes fucking NUTS.. I'm not even sure if it's them.. it sounds like them.. but that's what it's called Anechoic Chamber.. try and find that one too it's like 1:33 long.. It almost has an Anal Cunt quality.. just pure insanity.. and if you guys want i'll throw my mp3's up on Slayme's site.. I have 11.. some off all 3 albums

They're not dorks, they're just high and play once they smoke up.
One of the guitar players was insane.....he jumped around and his eyes were practically bulging out of his head throughout the whole concert.....but he was still incredibly accurate in his playing.

I finally talked to the guy I was going to go see Destruction, Cephalic Carnage with.. He got to meet everyone.. one of our friends is really into the scene and is friends with practically everyone.. anyways.. that's not the point. the point is he sat and talked with Cephalic for awhile.. He said they were totally nuts on stage and they all had cordless instruments and were jumping around.. He said it was the most insane thing he had seen.. and then when he met them.. they were totally calm normal people.. wouldn't even know it was them..He said they're really down to earth pretty cool guys.. and NOT DORKS
