Alright, I'm a Neurosis rookie. I know absolutely nothing about this band except for one album I picked up a few months ago, A Sun That Never Sets. I'm aware that this is their latest record, and I'm just wonderin if all the previous ones are moderately the same or do they tend to change with each album? It seems like tripped out stoner metal to me, really hypnotizing.

Any suggestions on other Neurosis shit?








one more thing, i'm really lookin for people that know a little somethin about the band and own more than 1 album.

I`m not a Neurosis fan... but my brother is .. he has 3 albums by them ... and yeah it dont change too much from one to another ...but is not the same...if you liked the one you have you wont be dissapointed by the other ones.

well... almost always that my brother gets a new CD i listen to it to check it out ... that's how I listened Neurosis. Well ... the CD's my brother has are :

Enemy of The Sun
Souls at Zero
Through Silver in Blood

Most of their albums stay with pretty much the same tone.. Pain Of Mind is heavier and faster... And anything before that I dunno.. I haven't heard anything before Pain of Mind.. But I have Sun that Never Sets and Times of Grace.. A Few of their albums from what i've heard will have one or two tracks that are a little heavier than the others.. I'd give Times of Grace a try.. I like it.. Hope that helps you
