Looking for a 24 3/4" scale + tremolo guitar. Any suggestions?
Basically it's all in the title. I'm looking for a Gibson scale guitar but with a tremolo (Floyd Rose type). By the way, does Gibson make custom guitars?

Sure they do, but they cost an insane amount of cash.
Gibson scale. Hmm, well I COULD reccomend these guitars:

(select english at the bottom of the page for a translation)
And there's an explorer and LP type too also with a trem. Set neck mahogany guitars, I own the FV90FR. It's ok, but maybe a little overpriced because it doesn't play all that well IMO, the neck profile is not flat but very curved and the fretboard is wide. Not what I'm used to so I'm selling it. It sounds really really good even with the stock crap o pups, very resonant but doesn't sustain too well because of the shitty licensed trem unless you block it.
Hamer makes 24 3/4" scale guitars, but often not with Floyd's less it's old models. Trey Azagthoth played a custom 24 fret Hamer V with a Floyd, it was 24 3/4" scale(as well as a modded Gibby FV).
Oh yeah, and Deans are exactly what you're looking for too, some higher end(400$+) Dime ML or V models have Floyds and all are 24 3/4" scale.
You could buy an old used gibby and get it floyd rosed, might be worth it if you really want to own a Gibson.

you can buy a stetsbar... its a whammy bar thing that can be retrofitted to any guitar that has a tune'o'matic/stop bar bridge type. Works on pretty much all gibsons, fernandes, schecter, you name it. and no routing required, you just take out the tune/stopbar, and screw it into those holes.
i'm not sure how deep it can dive, but it sure smells nice

Thanks for the reply, guys! I like the fact that these guitars come with 10s to get a richer, heavier sound.
I never heard of these Collins guitars before! They seem German-made. I don't know whether the Floyds are original. They seem licensed but anyway.
Perhaps modifying a Gibson would be the thing to do, I guess.
Dean guitars would be an alternative, yes but I don't like the body and headstock shapes and those Dime blades on the fingerboard!
