Good Pair up
I'm on my lunch break so I didn't bother to do a search for this, but I recently got a GT3500h like some of you know and i have been using my friends 8ohm B-52 cab. It is definitely not ideal and i have been looking around for other cabs that will let me push more wattage through. Any suggestions? I saw a Blue voodoo cab on ebay but wasn't too sure bout it. I just need some help. Pushing out 160 watts from an amp that can do 350 is irritating

anything with decent speakers and can do 4 ohms.
then eventually get another so you can be running at 2 ohms.
i think that BV one might do it.

Cool sounds good dude. The BV cab i saw as for the BV120 head. I'm just trying to save up whatever money i can from my paychecks here and there until i can afford a 4ohm cab. It definitely won't be a shitty one cuz i don't like to waste money on crappy gear so i'll prolly end up saving for something worth while. thanks for the help.

A vader cab handles 600 watts at 4 ohms, that'd probably suit you well.

I checked 'em out and it looks like the one you are talking about is a 2x15" cab. The guitar cab is 480watts at 8ohms

A 160 watts is still alot. Why'd you get a 300 watt tube head? Could you buy anything more useless?

its not a tube head. its SS
the more wattage the better. he wants to push it at its potential or as close to it. 160 watts is not close enough.

Oh, shit I read BV300H. Yeah, more wattage the better for SS. I have a 1000 watt power amp for my shit, but thats at 4 ohms bridged. The way I run it is 225 watts.
