HyPUNKrite

This was forced and i dont care much for it, but it does get my point across clearly and easily.

You look like every other punk that I have ever seen
You say you stand to be yourself and non conformity
That sentance in itself is just blatent hypocrisy
Non-conformance limits you, it's a disability!

Hypunkrite
Don't tell me what to wear
Hypunkrite
No I won't shave off my hair
Hypunkrite
Leave me the fuck alone
Hypunkrite
You're just a fucking clone!

You see me walking down the street in all high market clothes
And when you see my face there is no ring inside my nose
Automatically this makes me lesser punk than you
By degrading me your hypunkrite, dont tell me what to do

Hypunkrite
Your deathlocks and your hawks
Hypunkrite
Never think outside the box
Hypunkrite
Stuck in your mindless ways
Hypunkrite
Now do what the frontman says!

Claim to not care of what others think of you
But don't let Johnny see you wear that cool new brand name shoe
Non conformity stops you even if you wanted to
I guess if you're a punk you better do what punks want you to
So don't get in my face about wearing anything i want
dont get in my face about the bands i listen to
dont get in my face about the brands that im wearing
I'm doing what I want and you're the one that's caring!

Hypunkrite
DIY is on your mind!
Hypunkrite
Because normal media is a crime!
Hypunkrite
Get out my way and let me pass
Hypunkrite
Shove your dumb shit ways up your fucking arse.

I was surprised to find that I actually like this. Punks are so conformists in their non-conformist sort of way. (Not that metalheads are any different. Punks are just way more hypocritical about it, in my opinion.)

In ways, i can't blindly say that i don't believe that. But even I still consider myself of punk status, and of punk mind. I alway looked beyond the "standard" image in my opinion. Basically in my eyes punk its a pretty general term, of somebody who thinks and acts how they feel accordingly. Whether society deems it correct or not. Not always the easiest thing to follow, but makes sense to me.

Goths are worse. Since the majority stress that they are individuals, so yeah, fitting song, kinda cheesy with the 'hypunkrite' though, but gets the message going well.

That had a great beat to it. I think it started to fall off the wagon a little on the last couple parts, but the first 4 were great. I only did a single reading though so maybe I'm just not getting the rhythm as well on the latter parts.

It's good to write things you're not comfortable with occasionally because sometimes it opens a new door.

Amadeus:Oh, and was there a cesserole (never mind spelling) involved?
Paddy:the fact that you didn't end up on a kids show makes me question my atheism

This is good, but you know you could make it much better. The rhythm of the language doesn't always work (though when it does, it does), and when it doesn't it just seems lazy. This isn't unusual in song lyrics, but there's no point in having a song like anybody else's about being an individual. Kinda undermining.

But I don't know what you want to do with this outside the obvious.
