Coldness and Wetness - Protecting the Amp

So...winter is coming, and in our practice room it will be pretty cold I think.
How should I protect my tube amp?

I donīt think that coldness (and probably wetness) is any good for a tube amp.
The air moisture in our room is pretty high as well...

Itīs a pretty small room and it has two small windows, and we have a "machine" which can heat the room up in like 2 minutes...but we canīt let this machine running the whole time, so I need something to protect my amp inside the room when itīs getting cold (I dont know, how cold it will be, but I guess that it will be pretty cold since its just a badly isolated basement room).

I donīt want my tube amp to get harmed , so please just tell me everything you know...I doubt that Iīm the only one having this problem(s).

i think moiste is a bigger problem than cold, though both will be bad for amps i or anytype of electric equipment.

i wouldnt leave my amp in that kinda situation, id take it home, and maybe get a little heater to warm up the practice rom aswell. do note that hot air contains can contain more moist than cold air, when its freezing theres hardly to no moist in the air (a guitarbuilder told me this so it should be true

you could get something that takes the moist out of the air, i dno what their called in english, but if i translate it literaly from dutch to english their called ''moist eaters''. some airconditioners also have a setting to take moist out of the air, i have a airco in my room that does: cold, heat, and ''moist eating''. pretty good thing since i store guitarwoods in my room.

EDIT: what metalhead666 says is also right, the moist will probaly condensate due to the sudden change in temperature.
