Hi!

So, we have finally found a new room for my band...so I plug my guitar in my amp etc. and when I power up the amp, there is this really pretty loud noise.
So, damn...I thought that it would be something with the amp. Now I tried an other amp and there is the same noise. So, I´m sure its not the amp(s) but the wall socket or something...there must be something wrong there.

What may cause this problem?
The static noise is really loud and I´ve never had this before...It´s just in this new room with the new wall sockets.

The other guitarist in my band doesn´t have this problem...so, is there anything I can do?


Any help would be nice, since I just got my ENGL Savage 120 and I played it at home and there were no noises...then in the band room, and well...you know the story. :S

perhaps its a small room and your guitar is too close to other electronic shit... picking up buzz. The further you are from wires, the quieter your gitter will be. Also check the wires connecting head to cab.... and general anything like that.
