Rat + Marshall JCM800 2203 settings
A buddy is lending me his Proco Rat to try out for a few weeks to see if I really want to purchase one. I am wondering what a good starting point would be as far as settings go using the above mentioned amp with the pedal? I wanted to ask some of you guys here that use this pedal and amp what your settings are for a starting reference point. Each amp as well as pedal has its sweet spot, so I would like to know what said spot is (roughly) on the Rat. Thanks in advance.

I use one with a JCM900, the settings I use for the pedal are;
Dist. 1
Filter. 5-6
Volume. Maxed
Gives a nice boost and evens out my tone especially when I'm playing in Bb when it can get a little muddy without it.
