question about Edge Pro II bridge

i need to clean the fretboard, and need to know if i can take off all the strings at once? i heard that you cant, but not really sure

its best not to take all strings of.

just loosen them all and have them hang off the sides of the fretboard (unless your planning to put new strings onit aswell).

but anyway, dont leave the guitar stringless for to long.

yeah, it need new strings as well, but i can just loosen the strings, clean it, retune, then restring it the right way. fuck thats going to take a little bit of time

Why shouldn't he take off the strings? Whats the reason?

u can take off all the strings but just dont leave it too long (say more than a day) because you'll have to re adjust the truss rod

Yeah, the truss rod is there to counter-act the tension on the strings, so if the strings are not on the guitar for a long period of time then you should slacken off the truss rod.

But just to clean your guitar properly and then restring it, you don't need to worry.

It will take you a little time to set the bridge back up properly, but thats no real problem.
