change the pickups in my standard 22
got a question about my prs standard 22
I play an engl ritchie blackmore through a genz benz 2x12 flex and i'm lookin for a sound kinda like a heavier black sabbath, early 70's rock, yet versatile enough to get that gritty neil young style nailed
I have the stock dragon 2's, which sound like shit
I want to change them out to other pickups, anyone have any recommendations outside of the average dimarzio x2n and seymour duncan jb, or whatever I've seen
my guitar is full mahogany and has a very thick neck, I'm tuned CGCFAD with d'addario .11s

Well, you could check out the Tony Iommi sig' pickups, I know a guy who has them in 2 guitars and he loves them.
