Are you talking about Cubase VST or Cubasis VST specifically? Because as far as I know Cubasis is for beginners but it's alot better just to start off with regular Cubase VST. There's alot more resources and help on the net available for Cubase VST anyways.

Cubasis is to Cubase what Cakewalk Home Studio is to Cakewalk SONAR. It's designed for beginners and is totally limited compared to its big brother. Like I mentioned before it's alot better to start off with the real thing.
Since you're talking about Cubasis, try going to 'Help' at the menu bar, there has got to be an option for 'Tutorial'.
