Misfits, anyone?
Ofcourse they are not a metalband, but they have infuenced many a thrash band. I keep hearing all these guys that listen to Metallica and Slayer saying that they suck. It troubles me. Anyone a fan?

i used to think some of that Misfits stuff went pretty cool with skating. though, i dont skate anymore, and lost the interest in things i liked as a result of skateboarding. i still like skateboarding itself (just wanted to make that clear). on the other hand, i really havnt heard much of Misfits, so its hard to say.

Hell yah, I used to be a HUGE Misfits fan. I owe several posters/flags as well as a shirt I bought off ebay signed by Jerry, Doyle, Dez and Robo..eh, at least I got Doyle's autograph. 
DEATH COMES RIPPING.
I was even a fan of many "Newfits" songs. Scream, American Psycho Dig up her bones, Helena, etc.

these guys rule my face. i like some new misfits songs too though, but Danzig reigned in that band. Samhain also kicks ass too. Danzig is pretty cool too.

Holy shit! Glen Danzig is fucking 51 years old! I just seen the fucker last year and I thought he looked damn good for being nearly 40, or so I thought. He looked like he was in his late 20's-early 30's at the most. I've been a fan since the early 90's but I had no ideal he was that old. Fuck, he puts ozzy to shame for being about the same age. I fucking love the Misfits. Old stuff though. The newer stuff is pretty blah to me. I mean a few good songs here or there but generally they suck now. But man old school Misfits rule. Return of The Fly, Astro Zombies, Skulls, Devilock, Death Comes Ripping, Die, Die, My Darling, Last Caress. All wicked shit.
