Guitar and String Problems

yesterday i got the zakk wylde ghs boomers 11-70 set. i strung all the strings fine but the 70 one. it couldn't fit through the tuning peg on my Epi Les Paul Studio is there any way i can fix that? cause i really want the 70 on it

take a round file and make the hole bigger??

and can i get that at say a local hardware store?

You bet.
Another trick is to take off the entire tuning peg, then remove the washer that goes on top of the guitar head. Put the entire peg back on. Push the string as far in as it will go [you can fit just up to where it starts getting really fat] through the hole and tune up. The reason you have to take off that washer is because you won't be able to fit the string on the peg when it starts wrapping around, the windings will keep popping off. I've done my low .70 on my Schecter for a few years this way until I round filed the peg hole a few months back.

im gonna call up to my local music store and ask if they have a file for it they usually help me out pretty good, but if not i'll try what you said thanks.
