Whats your interpretation? I tend to enjoy having my own personal interpretations of others lyrics, based on my ... own needs if you will. Dark tranquillity and the Absence definately tend to my needs well.

The thing I've always hated about interperatation, which was more rooted in school and stuff, is the teachers were wanting you to interperate like a poem or something the way it was supposed to be. It just got so frustrating.

I can understand the purpose... for understanding different use of words and metaphors and what not. But.. as i see it in personal reading/enjoying of lyrics its completely dependent upon your own context. Cause unless its for something in particular, what difference does it truly make if you understand it how they created it? It truly doesn't.
