I want to ask you about setting equalizer in amp. I've got Laney HCM65B, and I was wondering what would be your proposal of equalizer setup. There are 4 switches in it: Bass, Middle Gain, Middle Sweep and Treble. The range for each one is from -5 up to +5. Plus, there is onboard compressor with compressor gain from 0 to 10. Can you post your suggestions for setting those switches to get nice sound?
It would be cool if you could post different setups for different styles of music. I'm interested mostly in metal ones, but i'm opened aswell for other ones.
Any advices?
