There are so many things I want in a dream guitar I don't even know where to begin. I'm not talking standard things, I mean a guitar completely reinvented. I'm looking to buy a custom 7-string Ran in the very far future.

I would have a Les Paul Supreme equipped with an original floyd rose trem and the EMG 81/85 pickup combo... I'd like the paint to be like a chrome mirror paint... something that would reflect light like a motherfucker. That would be unique...

I would like a Suhr/Tyler but I'd like to try one out first then there are no dealers for those here and I'm pretty much not worthy of one. Yet .

Like my sunburst chrome.
A custom Ran Flying V is the first that springs to my mind too.

Probably a custom from Jonez Guitarz. Very odd or unique shape. Like a chainsaw or something. But it would be tuned to B standard, have EMG 81/85 pickups, 24 frets and either a Floyd Rose trem or Kahler.

It'd have to be a Ran V, baritone scale 7 string, camo paint, SH-8 or Bareknuckles Warpig bridge p'up, silver ironcross 12th fret inlay, god knows what else!

I'd get a snow white RR with black pinstripes. It would have 24 frets with a H/S/S setup. I'd like the inlays to only be the pihrana inlay for the 12th fret, with an ebony fret board. With a westone headstock, but it will still be a jackson, their necks are better. I'd get an original floyd rose on there too. As for the pickups I'm not really sure maybe a Dimebucker and stock single coils, not sure though. Thats probably over $3,000, but its still cool.

Well this would probably cost a little more than $3000, but anyway...I'd get a custom hand made Moser Custom Shop guitar. 2 piece laminated black korina (limba) neck through and a black korina body. A pau ferro fretboard (dead flat radius) with stainless steel frets the same size as Dunlop 6105 fretwire. Either an Original Floyd Rose or a Kahler 3215 trem, with a Kahler locking nut and a bone nut. Strung up with DAdario 13-56 guage strings in standard tuning. X2N/PAF Pro combo. 2 volume, 2 tone, 5 way blade selector. Possibly a kill switch. Still havent decided on a body shape (the Morpheus shape looks killer though)

Jackson RR with cracked mirror even on the face of the headstock, FR fixed bridge, EMG 81/85, and if I had some left over I'd get a Madison Divinity and a Marshall 1960A

The highest quality woods possible for the body and topwood, a 7 string Ibanez Prestige Wizard II neck, hardware made from manganese, an x2n-7, Jazz-7 and a paf single coil in the middle, and a nice, fat, thick leather strap, pre-worn down.

On second thought, if I had $3000 to buy an axe I'd see if RAN/Dariusz or Jackson could come up with this following concept of mine:
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c...utewithSHOD.jpg
If you've ever played System Shock 2, one of the craziest and scariest fucking games ever made, you'll definetly dig this axe.

Ran custom:
-Plain V body 6 string.
-Solid mahogany, 5P maple neck AAA satin black finish neckthru.
-Deep classy wine red/slight orangeish quilted maple top.
-No border.
-Bigass 24 frets, square end ebony fretboard.
-Red dot inlays.
-12th fret inlay: "Mother Magma".
-1 bridge HB(custom Dimarzio), a "hidden" middle coil(like under the paint, invisible), 1 neck singlecoil(probably a coil stack).
-Original Floyd Rose Pro/Schaller Lo-Pro II(also called FR III).
-1 volume, 1 tone, 3-way switch(configs: HB only, 3-single coil(tapping the HB, and neck singlecoil only).
And with the money left over(if any nowadays...) I'd get a Dean Black Gold Cadillac and swap the pickups for custom-made gold-top Dimarzio X2N and Paf Pro, keeping the coilsplitting thinger intact.

I would get a custom guitar off of Schector and call it the "Sid Jizz Armo"
It will be a 7 string guitar with a cherry red Damien body, 2 EMG 85s, neck thru body, string thru bridge, and inlays that say "Hey, what the fuck?!" across the fretboard.

If it had to be a metal guitar it would be a Pearl White with blood stains 7-string V with Widow stock and an EMG 81-7 from Ran. And a Floyd ofc.

http://ranguitars.com/imi/katalog/IMG_2159.jpg. that paint color with hardware and pickups. Jackson V-style except like it got a diamond cut out of the crotch of the V. OFR, 6105 frets, mahogany body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, white binding, No inlays, Locking Nut with SoB headstock (same color), and on the 12th fret there would be an inferno ( just fire, not flames (flames sounds gay), just fire)

either a Kvx guitar
or:
Jackson V shape (not rr, equal wings, but still pointy)
Mahogany, Flamed maple top (blue)
SOB headstock
24 6105 frets
Original Floyd Rose Bridge.
Headstock same color
27.5" or 25.5" can't decide
Locking Nut
Locking TUners
Dark Ebony Fretboard.
Sharkfin Inlays/No inlays
White neck binding.
Side Jack
Don't know about pickups. But that doesn't really matter as they can be changed quickly

If I had 3000 bucks on an axe...
Ran Explorer, neck-thru, 24 frets, dotted frets..., old school explorer headstock, floyd rose, 6 string, painted black with yellow racing stripe all the way through (like the one on the website...shit!), grey, white, or neon yellow, two humbuckers (JB/Jazz) or 81/85. oh and left handed of course...
other...or if I had money left...muhahahha
Ran Warrior, neck-thru, 24 frets, sharkfins, reverse jackson headstock, floyd rose, 6 string, forest green with grey lettering, two humbuckers (JB/Jazz) or 81/85. and yes left handed?

If I had $3000 to spend on a new axe I'd get the ESP Jeff Hanneman signature model. That is a fucking amazing guitar - ebony fret board, Kahler bridge, EMGs, very cool fret board inlays etc, etc. The guitars actually retails at $3,999 so $3000 wouldn't be enough, lol. Oh well........
