BEYOND THE EMBRACE line up local headlining shows...
After completing their first U.S. tour supporting Kataklysm, Metal Blade
Records artist BEYOND THE EMBRACE have returned home to New Bedford, MA and
are gearing up for an impressive opening slot a soon to be announced U.S.
trek. The band has posted the following message to the fans on their
website:
"We're back from our first full American tour- "Death Across America", we'd
like to thank all the people that helped us out while we were out on the
road along with all the guys from Kataklysm, Divine Empire, and Misery
Index. We met a lot of very cool people and we very much look forward to
heading back out as soon as possible.
Look for another BTE tour before the end of the year."
In the meantime catch BEYOND THE EMBRACE headlining the NEW WAVE CAFE in New
Bedford, MA on 9/20 and THE GREEN ROOM in Providence, RI on 9/21. The band

THE FALLEN street date pushed back…
Due to the demand exceeding expectations and in order to fill all the
pre-orders, the street date for THE FALLEN’S “Front Toward Enemy” was pushed
back a week. You will now be able to purchase the bands debut cd on Metal
Blade Records in stores on Tuesday September 17th, 2002.

SFU Double Dead CD/DVD
SIX FEET UNDER recorded live footage for their new CD/DVD release “Double
Dead” at the Lab in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 14th for a November 5th 2002
release. The show was professionally shot on film by Dave Roth, who directed
'The Day The Dead Walked', 'Victim of the Paranoid', and 'Manipulation'
videos, and was digitally recorded live by Chris Carroll who worked with the
band on the Maximum Violence, Graveyard, and True Carnage CDs. Songs
recorded from shows in WA and CO will also be featured on the live CD, which
will be released as set hence the title “Double Dead”. Also included on the
DVD is the rare in store signing that took place at ROOT CELLAR Records in
St. Paul, MN.

CANNIBAL CORPSE will be releasing “Worm Infested”, a six song EP including
three unreleased tracks from their most recent release, “Gore Obsessed”, a
Japanese bonus tracks, a European bonus track, and a limited edition bonus
track that appeared on “Gore Obsessed. “Worm Infested” is a strictly limited
edition numbered collectors EP, which will only be available through the
initial pressing. “Worm Infested” will be sold exclusively through the band’
s and Metal Blade Records website as well as on the band’s forthcoming tour
which will be heading out in November 2002. The fall tour will include
Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, Macabre, and Cattle Decapitation. Tour dates

AMON AMARTH finished recording new album “Versus The World”!!!
AMON AMARTH finished the recordings for their fourth full-length album
“Versus The World” in the Berno Studios located in Malmö, Sweden. The Viking
Death Metal killer of the year will be released on the 18th of November
2002! The limited first edition will be a “Viking edition” double-CD with
lots of bonus material. The content of the second CD is not confirmed yet,
but will be announced soon!
