Amp wierdness
I have this marshall 80 watt amp and I've had it for like 2 or 3 years. WELL, recently for some reason, it's been acting wierd. For one, it's sound isn't as good as it usually is, and whenever I turn it up loud enough and play a low note chord or pretty much anything loud there's this "whirving" buzzing sound, the kind of buzzing "feedback" I guess you could call it whenever you play anything in your car loud with the bass all the way up.
You're probably thinking, "CTL, just turn down your bass, you jackass." Well, my friends, I have tried this, and I still get the same shit.
I'm thinking of buying a new amp, but before I do, I wanna know if this is actually the sign of my amp about to like "blow up" or something to that effect. If it is, I can sell it to some unexpecting Fallout Boy fan who wants to "play as good as Joe Trohman!" I don't wanna spend money to get it repaired sonce odds are it would cost as much to get a new amp, and it could break again.
I'm a novice when it comes to the electronic workings of everything, let alone amps.

Maybe one of the connections to the speakers is loose, or even worse a speaker might be blown.

.... I dunno. I got it from a pawn shop and it sounded great at the time. I didn't pay attention to what model it is.
How do I find out?

Well then it would be a little tricky to diagnose an amp problem if YOU dont even know what model it is.
