getting new gear selling old one!.....and i'm thinking on starting my very own rack...but need some advice on many things...cant find/try many of the gear on stores.....
I play mostly metal...death/trash/nu/alternativ metal/grunge metal.....my main thought is finding a nice disto and enough chans to be switching from one to another......got an ltd viper with emg active pickups...
Preamp:i've decided on Engls 570 (wish i had enough for the 580...)..heard good about it on other posts...if u guys have other suggestions...i'm willing to hear...but my mind is almost set...need more than i chan to switch between disto....and since it has midi i can have like 10....if u use the floor pedal...
Power amp:which would suit my needs and the 570 best???...thinking on mesa..2:50 or 2:90 (the simu class and class A/B plus bias stuff kinda worries me...i dont really get it...right know reading the manuals......and 2:90 has like 3 modes...gets hard to think which could be best paired)...vht....engl too...
Cabs:i'm going for something that has celestion V30 (everyone seems to be pleased with them)...mesa is supposed to have great cabs...i was thinking on 2x12....rather than 4x12
Racks:how much do they cost???...are they hard to set???
economy:if i really search...and search good......and hard....i might find like about 3000€...plus what i get for selling my carvin mts 3200 and carvin cab....but the cheaper the better...although main purpose is to obtain great sound...
