They're all good really, you need to play them to know. My hand starts cramping up at fret 12 and above on ibanez necks, sort of the same on my Dean V (not nearly as bad though) but jackson necks work really good for me. Jacksons and Deans sound nice too, IMO.

What's your budget? I've heard low-end Jacksons aren't very good, but the higher end ones kick ass. I own a mid-range ESP which is great for playing metal, paid around $650 for it. Do you want a tremolo on your guitar? Be a little more specific.

I can think of only a few things that could make this question any more vague.

Give us specifics! Cause as far as I know, Ibanez dosent make a guitar called the "Something"

yeah. Specific.
There are many things you can get on a guitar. Pickups, bridges, jumbo frets.

But for soloing... I would say Ibanez. But thats ME
For riffage, I like Jacksons.

I don't know if you are a beginner or what, but if you are then I would say go with ibanez.

Mostly though, go with what feels good. You might like something completely different than the brands you mentioned.

i wouldnt go with any of those, i hate jacksons, deans and only love certain ibanez's. I'd go with a high end kramer or a peavey v type

FIRST... there is no ''best'' only personal preference...

SECOND... play them, or as many guitars as you can that you like, then go for the one that you think plays best feels best etc..

If you pick the right models, they all kick unfathomable amounts of ass.
