I don't really know that many songs.(especially by the bass greats..never really tried to learn them)
However, I'm competent enough that I could play any Death song. But there are only a few I can remember all the riffs on the top of my head.(Symbolic, The Flesh and the Power it Holds, Spirit Crusher, Crystal Mountain)
Then again, most of the time Death is that difficult.
Oh, and I play Zombie Ritual flawless.

Story to Tell by Death, Four Horsemen by Metallica, Stu Hamm's Bass Solo off of the Live in San Fransisco DVD are probably my three favorite things to play on bass.

Probably one of my most influencial songs. As far as riff construction and what not goes.
Although the problem with Death.. i mean its not really a problem.. But most of their bass is ... guitar but on bass. And alot of time thats really annoying. Although i must say i've played spirit crusher on bass and a few other death songs boy does it work your arms out.
The hardest song i've ever played on bass.. haha i know you will all laugh.. but check out the Chrono Triggers Unreleased Battle Theme... If you've heard this you know what i'm talking about. Just go to vgmusic.com and download it. It took a SHIT ton of memorization to get this song down. And its a work out.

ACTUALLY..... chrono trigger is an snes game.. they put on PS1.....
I find that there are some great rpg music out there for bass and even guitar in some cases. Almost all of Chrono Cross's music is the shit on guitar and some on bass is pretty cool too.
For awhile i composed my own rpg music on the piano, bass, and guitar.
