need help buying an amp

don't have alot of money to spend, but i am thinking about either a laney gh50l or a blue voodoo head, it will be played with a marshall 1936 2 x 12 cab and ibanez rg series guitar. playing mainly death metal, i want something really tight and clean with a nasty distortion.

well i've played the laney and i really liked it, however from what i can remember i think it was only a one channel head. So if you want clean cleans, i'd suggest something else

Blue Voodoo 60/50w head? Or get an Engl E530 and use it's internal poweramp until you have cash to buy a real poweramp.

need help also

i have no idea where to ask this.. but i guess i need help buying an amp too so i'll do it here. if there's a better place please tell me.

i've just started playing electric guitar... i bought an esp ec-400

but now i'm looking to buy and amp... i have very limited resources at hand as far as trying amps out, so i'll have to go based on what i hear from everyone here.

i have no idea what i'm looking for but i'd like a sound similar too the new dissection album 'reinkaos'. what amps are good for this?

any help appreciated
