Dissolution on demand

Dissolution on Demand
Scent of new rain
Still fresh in your mind
This must be what
They say it feels like

Suffocation
Belligerence
Self reliance

The taste of acid
Has never felt so bad
Crept into your lungs
Now exhale misery

Never have you felt this way
But this is what you asked for
Loneliness, isolation
Combination set for ruin

Past decisions will still haunt
And future failings will prove
Your reliance to an old creed
You'll bury yourself

I realized recently what it is about melodic death metal that appeases me the most. I realized that (don't flame me metaltabs for this one) but its the EMO of metal. I mean tell me i'm wrong? Its the only metal that truly puts emphases (imo) on the importance of the meaning of the songs and the mood and emotion that it invokes. The reason why i say it appeases me is just my personal desire to read and listen to music that heavily relates to personal things. Also when i say emo i don't mean "whining about girls" i mean more of analysis of deep issues which are often personal.

I'll stop this lil realization here haha.

Ooo,Ooo,Ooo bitch fight!!! Popcorn and beer time!!

That was pretty cool piece. I liked the wording and the rhythm.

And yeah, I can see that, too. Some death metal I've read has more depth to it than teeny-bopper type radio emo stuff. Most of it. But there's a need for 14 year old girls to drool and always has been. Some of them will graduate to be metalheads and some won't. So will go opera. It's pretty emo, too. Some won't use music anymore than background noise.
You guys are special.

The background noise thing absolutely kills me about the human race as a whole, i try not to get too "upset" over it cause its really just pointless, but when i listen to music.. its generally to get really into it, maybe thats why i listen to metal? Who knows. There is SOME music i do listen to as background noise, but generally after a lil while i turn it off cause i eventually start paying too much attention to it instead of what i should be paying attention to. I.E. homework.

I've only met one person who was like that. She's a bit younger than me, but I think since her kids take piano lessons now and listen to a lot of music she's a little different now. I was dumbfounded when I first heard her say it because I'd never met anyone like that. It was a foreign concept to me. I've always been exposed to music on a higher level.

I'll have to give it a shot, and do some analysis.
