The Kovenant/Covenant
I have heard that they are actually the same band. Is this true? If it is, then what is with the different spellings?

They changed their name from The Covenat to The Kovenat ... just the "K" .. and they also changed their style ... now they suck

They were more Black Metal ... Nexus Polaris is awesome ... now they play more like Industrial shit ... just listen Animatronic and you`ll find out ... man I cant believe how such a good band becomes shit ... same happened to Theater Of Tragedy  |

I agree Nexus Polaris is awesome. That is the only cd I have heard by them. I don't mind industrial stuff so I think I will atleast check the newer stuff out to see if I like it.

i heard one of The Kovenants new tracks off their album comming out shortly and it sounded pretty fucking killer the other night on the radio....and they played it almost straight after Hate Eternal and it didn't feel like an anti-climax. maybe they're getting the intensity back.

well since ya all on this topic i might as well raise this up, what is happen to the band, i mean anyone got any news bout them, haven heard from them in such a long time, yah they are a good band, but well for the changing to industrial part, just hope their upcoming(if there ever is gonna be one) will be back to the their Nexus Polaris kinda music

well if the rest of the new album comming out (next month i think andrew, the dj on the radio, said. well..thats next month for australia anyway) is anything like that track they played off it, its going to be killer.

Really? The album is out in Norway,I saw it two weeks ago. But as I only have Animatronic, I didn't bother to check it out...

from what i've heard, they changed their name because of legal issues dealing with a women's choir group who had the name covenant for years.
I liked nexus polaris, but it got overplayed by my friends so i don't really like it anymore.
