gateway to metal
What were your gateway band(s)?
I liked rap and then i listened to CKY and it inroduced me to good music using guitars and drums,then Madden 06 got me exploring into metal because of the Metalcore band Bullet For My Valentine it was on the soundtrack,so now i like Cannibal Corpse,Cradle Of Filth,im getting into Cryptopsy and other stuff.
So Ya whats yours?

CKY, Metallica's S&M Album, thats about it. Then I just started delving in to thrash metal and got heavier.

Zepplin, System of a Down, annnnnd Mudvayne. Lamb of God was the first real metal band i got into. And i REALLY got into them.

Queen, Jimi Hendrix Deep Purple. Led Zeppelin led me to Pentagram, Iron Savior, and gr1m black metal.

When i was young my father played me things like Led Zeppelin, Pink FLoyd, Budgie.
I dabbled in Metallica when i was a little older but i never really liked it, Crap.
Then as i got older again i started to make friends at metal shows who would introduce me to things,
Now its things like Deeds of Flesh, Rot, Meat Shits,
Cool stuff
