new guitar help
im new here...so if i messed up on something...my bad. but anyway ive been playing a crappy $150 cort for the past year, and i wanted to hear some peoples advice on an idea for a new guitar. i play black metal and death metal, and use a metal master distortion pedal. my budget is around $400. i was thinking about an ESP LTD, but i would like to hear some other peoples opinions.

Well theres like 100 different LTD models... for $400 your not gonna get a whole lot.

What body style do you want? If you want SG styled (but thicker), the Viper series is awesome. $400 would get you the Viper-200FM which has EMG-HZ H-4 humbuckers.
