haha, that sounds like an awesome present.
I have a Hoegaarden glass, a Stella glass, and a Leffe(blah) glass.as well as just plain beer glasses..My Alexander Keith's glass was accidently smashed by my friend, while we were drunk off the beer. 
Definitely with ya on the stein though.

about the wine vs liquor...hell yea wine is pretty good shit. though i still drink liquor way more than wine. i had a bunch of wine when i was in italy 
as for the glass...i do enjoy drinking a nice beer out of one of my glasses..but its just another thing to wash. we already have enough crap in our sink. i just make sure the beer and its container are nice and cold before drinking it. i've got a series of 4 guinness pint glasses with various pictures from posters of theirs with animals. i love to ostrich one with the pint in his throat! and a famous grouse scotch glass which i use pretty much all the time for drinking liquor |

haha, your idea prompted me to look at Beer memorabilia for about 35 minutes on ebay.
Most of the Beer steins are intricate and insane...and usually from Germany.
The one's with the covers seem pretty cool. I think I'd want to get a steel/silver/thick glass stein.

hahah good call! though you could have a few nice ones to just have a few drinks of some nice shit if someone stops by. and then take out the shittier ones and get wasted.

thats fucking weak! its just a container. look on ebay if you still aren't old enough, though i don't think most people card for flasks...or am i wrong?? i think the main reason i don't have a flask yet is that it could get me into trouble having a nice small container of liqour that i could take with me wherever.
