Guitar Pro Max Filesize?
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the maximum filesize is for Guitar Pro files. I tried uploading a file, but it didn't attach to the thread in the pending tabs section. I was able to shave off 200 KB (it was 553 KB, I got it down to 300 KB) but it still didn't attach. Someone mentioned that they tried uploading a 30 - 40 KB file and that didn't attach, so I'm just wondering what "target size" I should aim for with this particular file
Cheers.

I don't know, sorry.
I don't have an avatar because uploading has always been problematic.

I think it's somewhere 120-130. 553 is pretty big, is it GP5? You should export it to GP4, it's smaller.

I tried exporting it as GP4, but it still works out at 280 KB haha. It's a really long song with quite a few guitars.
I'd recommend increasing the max filesize anyway, because when GP6 comes out the files will probably be bigger still. Or perhaps offer the option to upload the tab as a .zip file instead (when I zip my 553 KB file it becomes 12.2 KB).
Thanks anyway
