I know, this is an old threat... (and if you know any knew programs which where released since then, please tell me)
However, it's great to hear about this programs, since I was already afraid, that I won't be able to use Guitar Pro anymore, once I got my new Mac. Did anyone already test the programms? How are they, compared to Guitar Pro? Can you still use all the functions?
Btw, the link to your blog doesn't work (anymore).
