Well, Im curious to see what you all think of the Focus bonus tracks.
I'm talking about the 2004 remixes of 'Veil Of Maya', '...I'm But A Wave To', and 'How Could I'.
Not the bonus Portal tracks, just the remixes.
Personally im not too sure whether it was a great idea but im quite interested to what all you Cynic fans think.

I like Piece of Time, but it's my least favorite of them. Listen to Unquestionable Presence (their best) and Elements. Wayyy better.

agreed that way it wasnt just normal clean vox or normal growls they mixed it up and shook up what people thought about metal, thats why they most definitely are not overrated, i think the main reason people say bands like cynic,atheist,watchtower,canvas solaris, and cephalic carnage are overrated is because they personally want straight up metal, not virtuostic musicianship or intelligent songwriting just METAL, but for me i want something a little bit more ( creativity!!!lol), but hey to each his own. Plus its nice having cynic fans as more of a cult that way you know who is musically advanced enough to handle the music!
but on the bonus tracks i do like im but a wave to remixed, veil of maya i mainly just noticed an improvement in sound quality, but the portal stuff meh... |
