bought one in 95 (about 100 US), doesn't sounds that great anymore. i think it sounds better thru solid state amps...

yup, the metalzone is great, which I have told everybody about 10 times before 
nah anyways, compared to ibanez I think Boss still rules, not at the sounds department but the design, the Boss pedals are really solid.
If you ask me the tone-lok series from Ibanez are still pieces of shit, however they do sound cool, I chose a Boss EDB3 bassdistortion above an Ibanez FatHed bassdistortion because of the durability, If you play onstage you need proper equipment not some piece of plastic shit. |

Does anyone of you know the settings to play a sound like Abyssic Hate and Burzum. I was thinking in recording a big hall of noise and then playing a more melodic line with a 2ªguitar.
Any tips for a Blackmetal sound would be also apreciated.

i also have one of these, but it suddenly stopped working. is that normal? i haven't a clue how old it is or what shape, i got it free as a throw in on a guitar i got off ebay.

you'll be the first to hear the new songs we're recording, they kick more arse hehe
the gig was ok, except for a blown-up guitar amp and a broken mike, that fucked up the show a bit but we did get 2 more gig offerings, planned for january and february
about the pedal, your battery is probably empty, mostly 9v, maybe you've got a checker led on it (on all boss-es there is a led) if its out, it ain't getting any power.

im thinking of getting a digitech metal master does anyone have one of those? musicians friend catalog says it can immitate sounds like boss metalzon and dod death metal, the boogie mark 3 and the rectifier, (ive only herd of 2 ofe those pedals) i listened to it on the internet and it sounds pretty good.

at the bottom there is a little speaker i guess but it looks like a steering wheel lol anyways it says listen right next to it so click it and push the triangles to hear the different sounds it makes. (I personally think the DOD Death Metal sound is the best setting but it might just be the song).
