Basic Chords
ive been playing guitar for awhile, but i never learned chords. im just wondering if there is some REALLY basic chords that evey guitarist should know. if someone could show me em that would be cool.

Um, dude...learn the regular major and minor chords...
Go to www.chordfind.com and just click on like C Major, and G Major, and whatever you'd want to know.

That's a power chord. That one in particular is an A5, or A fifth.
Do you know the notes on the fretboard?

while your at it, it might be an idea to learn 4ths, 5ths, 7ths, etc, so you actualy know wat is happenin the particular chord, as well as being able to create you own.
