Bullet for my valentine style screaming?

Hey guys..

Im a drummer in a 4 piece band. Our singer isnt much of a screamer, but we've been trying to go a bit heavier. I want to be able to back up on a few songs by screaming certain lines of the songs.

I really like the screaming on Bullet for my valentine's album, and was wondering if anyone could give a lesson/tip on how to develop a scream.

I can do it at pretty low volumes and like it. Problem is when i go louder it turns into more of a yell and my throat gets really itchy.

Any one have any tips to help me a bit?

Matt Tuck's scream sounds like a yell/scream,try to yell then experiment with mixing in growls/screams.I think it takes a lot of practice for somthing like that.My voice used to never sound right if i didnt close my mouth to where its like almost shut but now after destroying my vocal cords i can widen my mouth and sound good. Its not as deep if i widen compared to if i close it a bit.
Just experiment as ive stated earlier. Its like working mucsles if you dont push yourself you dont gain size or strength, just practice at it.
