First off all that "y" sound consonance drove me insane on the first stanza. I couldn't hardly focus on what it said. Overall I think that would be fixed if you picked a different rhyme scheme like abab, but overall the piece works with the rhyme structure. I think the meter was good and really helped the whole thing along. Overall it's really good. I just didn't like the rhyme scheme personally.

I meant this as a metaphor to the division of christianity into various sects- the most prominent is the division of catholics from all other sects which they seem to perceive as inferior
