Does anyone know how to get the sepultura guitar sound(arise, chaos, roots): Settings of amp and Boss Mt2 pedal.

You only need 4 strings on your guitar. A FAT ASS string gauge (I reccommend .97 for the thickest string), and any amp that goes to 11.

Hahahha, .97 is almost the thickness of an E string on a bass.

Where in the fuck would you get a guitar string beyond .70? The E string in a light gague bass string set is .95 by the way.

Really, youd almost think he was being sarcastic.
MONGO, no one can really help you with this, recorded tones are gonna be really different then what you hear in front of an amp. Theres too many variables, guitars-pickups-effects-amp-cab(speakers)-mic-mic positioning-mixing board-ect. All amps are built differently and the EQing wont be the same for every one. Your best bet is to just set the dials on your amp at noon and try to EQ it as close as you can with the MT-2, like others said, youll never get there. You just cant mimic the sounds of cranked up tube amps with a 50$ distortion pedal.
