Yet another growling thread (I'm sorry)
Hey,
I've recently taken an interest in learning to growl (previously been on guitar) and it's going pretty well after reading the screaming/growling thread.
I'm hoping to achieve something like Lamb of God (not the same, just closer).
What I'd like to know is:
1. How do I get deeper?
2. How do I get it to sound harsher without killing my throat?
3. How do I improve my air management?
Any help on this would be much apprechiated.

People need to realise that growling is like an instrument. You cant just do it, you need to learn and above all, practise.

As for the throat thing, I think you misunderstood me, when I growl my throat does not hurt at all but my growl is no-where near as harsh as I want it to be. Whenever i attempt to add harshness I hurt my throat and cant keep growling, this means i'm doing it wrong.
Edit: and yes, I do realize voice is an instrument, and I intend to practice.

Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong. Yeah, cause I headbang while I do, and I can't really "Jump" (haha ) like VanHalen in a dorm room, so I just walk back and forth....haha a couple days ago I was jumping up and down on my bed, with my pants down and my roommate came in when I wasn't looking, hahaha.
