To tell you the truth, this one-line-one-word style often don't seem to cut it for me; it makes me think of exaggerated brutal growls too. Also, exactly where are you heading with the word "demise"?
Other than that, interesting thought; some good foundation for further contemplation. Some good music to it and it's not impossible that heads may bob.
