Addicted to Guitar
Does anyone else here get up in the morning and the first thing they think about is playing some guitar? Ive been playing for 10 years, but have gotten so much better in the last 6 months. I could sit and play all day now and never get bored of it. When im out drinkin, i usually end up finding a guitar to play as everyone crowds around and watches  |

I normally am thinking about guitar most of the day. And I play most of the day, since i am unemployed and dont have anything to do. Yup, I can play all day and not get bored.

If the sound sucks you don' t feel like playing. hell, I have a engl savage se half stack and still play 90 % of the time unplugged on my electric guitar. don't know why though. But I work alot so I can only play in the evening.

Its convienent when the guitar is right beside your bed, in arms reach. Anyone litterally wake up, cant keep their eyes open, but play the guitar?

I am a newly father so its kind of hard for me to get some practicing, So when I get ready for work 10min before I leave I will pick up my axe and doodle around....
And when I am at work The only two things I think about are my family and my guitars.....

Damn and i was thinking 1-3 hours a day wasnt that much... If i played only 2 hours a week i probably wouldnt bother. But now that i think of it, there were times that i didnt pick the gutiar up for days at a time.

This kind of gains my approval. Not that I see why you'd fiddle with the guitar once the girl is in the bed, but then again, what do I know of steady relationships.
I'm on vacation now, and the least three days I'm guessing that I've practiced about twentyfive hours. So yea.

Well.. I usually spend my time polishing up on my techniques everyday for around an hour or two , and then improvise and practice songs ive learned for another hour or so. Unless im at my mates parents pub.
In which case I jam with him instead 
My day usually goes something :-
Sleep --> Wake up --> Dress & Wash --> Guitar --> More guitar --> Sleep at like 3am in the morning.

For the last 2 years we've been working on our upcoming album. Its gonna be pretty crazy considering the time we've spent working on each of 16 songs. Complex melodic metal... Like a mixture of At The Gates, Wintersun, Black Dahlia Murder, The Agony Scene and Morbid Angel. Heheh i could just imagine what your thinking now...
I pretty much have to keep playing until this is done or i feel like maybe i might not be able to keep up with my own album if i stop playing for a week or two and get back into it. |

I find it harder to practice these days now that i'm working. Wish i could practice all day like when i was unemployed. Sometimes when i'm going to sleep riffs write themselves in my head so ive gotta get up and play them and write them down coz if i dont i'll never remember them.
When i was asleep once a song came to me in my dreams that ive never heard before. So i researched and found it it was a song by King Crimson called Sleepless, pretty trippy hey.

yea i love guitar! its awesomeness. over the summer sometimes i would spend about 10-13 hrs. just playing. i really enjoy playing. guitar is my life! *scratchs neck* too bad schools starting up again

its kinda funny i love playing guitar but i find that i keep playing the same stuff over and over again then i get bored and download some new music to learn and then the whole thing repeats again....
